Kev Howell

Kev Howell will unveil his sophomore album in Summer 2024, including the previously released  "Arrows" and "Longnor".  The two singles featured on BBC Introducing and Amazing radio UK and received great airplay through various stations globally. Perfecting his own signature sound as an independent Singer-Songwriter, Using innovative tuning techniques, sonic soundscapes with ear-worm guitar riffs and distinctive vocals, Kev Howell seamlessly blends a wide mix of genres including, blues-rock and Americana.

In 2017 his self-released debut album Haunting Ambition was nominated for a SAY Award (Scottish Album of the Year) and continues to attract an ever growing fanbase with over 130,000 streams collectively. The lead Single 'Kamikaze' was described as “Bewitching and sublime” in a U.S review and subsequently featured on Black Rebel Motorcycle Club's website in 2018, delivering, Kev's music to a whole new audience.

 

Kev has released a 6 track Live Ep recorded at Nice N Sleazy in Glasgow (Soundcloud or Spotify) , while recording his new album in Maybank Studios with long time friend and collaborator, Matt Harvey

Past supports include, Bill Ryder-Jones, Gerry Cinnamon, Danny Bryant, Ben Ottewell, John Power, and The Glorious Sons.
